Alot of people ask me for great tasting gluten and allergy free candy suggestions all year long but especially when it is time for the Easter bunny to arrive! Kids love to see their Easter baskets filled with sweets but it is important that these items are both delicious and safe for them to eat as well.
Here are my top 3 favorite chocolate and candy treats you can find in the U.S. that will make any kid (and even adults!) happy and satisfied:
- Surf Sweets: This company makes all types of candies that taste amazing, are made with all organic ingredients and all corn syrup free. The gummy bears and jelly beans are my personal favorite but they also make gummy worms, sour worms, fruity bears, sour berry bears, watermelon rings and peach rings. Everything is produced and packaged in a facility free of the top ten allergens and no artificial colors or flavors are used. Great tasting products and a big variety of options to choose from – highly recommend! They also are available in small on-the-go sizes too!
- Pascha Organic Dark Chocolate: Their mission is to make the purest, safest chocolate without any allergenic ingredients. They are manufactured in a facility free from all eight major food allergens and are certified USDA Organic, Vegan, Kosher and Fair Trade. They offer 8 types of chocolate bars as well as 3 flavors of chocolate chips which are great to use when baking. All their bars and chips are free from peanuts, nuts, dairy, soy, eggs, fish, wheat, gluten, mustard, sesame and sulfites. These products contain no additives or artificial sweeteners and are non-GMO project verified. This is my go-to when I need a chocolate fix!
- Enjoy Life Chocolate Bars: Enjoy Life made the first allergy-friendly chocolate bars in the U.S. that are free from the top 8 allergens including dairy, nut, soy and gluten. All of their products are manufactured in a dedicated nut-free and gluten-free facility. My favorite is the boomCHOCOboom Ricemilk Crunch which reminds me of Nestle’s Crunch but without dairy and gluten! They also have 2 other tasty chocolate bars including dark chocolate and ricemilk chocolate as well as a variety of cookies, cereals, granola, chips and more.
I have also put together a great list of gluten free snacks and peanut / tree nut free snacks (including more candy) if you need more options for your own enjoyment or to fill up any Easter baskets you might be making this week!
Hope you have a wonderful Easter with your family and friends!
